SharePoint Integration Notes
JP DM integrates with SharePoint for document storage. Please be aware of the following behaviors related to the SharePoint integration:
- Documents uploaded to SharePoint must not be in Compatibility Mode. Please convert them to a current Microsoft 365 format (such as .docx, .xlsx, or .pptx) to ensure full functionality.
- The SharePoint document library created for a workspace may receive unique permissions that do not inherit from the site. If newly added users are unable to access documents, contact our support team.
- Renaming or deleting documents directly in SharePoint is not reflected in JP DM. Always rename or delete from the Disclosure Management website to ensure changes are synchronized.
- Once a document is moved to a workspace, renaming it locally within the Office application may trigger a SharePoint path error. Rename documents from the Disclosure Management website instead.
