JP DM Add-in Commands

The JustPerform Disclosure Management (JP DM) add-in provides different commands on the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ribbon tab.

Commands in Word

JP DM Ribbon Tab in Word

User Details

Displays profile of current user.

User Profile

  • Edit Profile
    Opens the User settings page on the insightsoftware Platform to edit user information.
  • Switch
    Switches to another organization that you have access to.
  • Open Dashboard
    Opens the Disclosure Management Dashboard.

Show Outline

Opens the outline of the report to navigate through the report. You can add sections in the outline to organize the report content as you need.

Create Section

Adds a section where your mouse pointer is placed in the report. JP DM adds a node for this section in the outline accordingly.

XBRL Hub

Opens the XBRL Hub panel to apply and review tagged values in the document.

Move to Workspace

Moves the document to a workspace, or migrates the document to another workspace if it is already in a workspace.

Add as Report

Adds a copy of the document as a narrative report to a workspace.

Create Variable

Creates a variable from the selected text.

Show Variables

Opens the variable list to view all variables you have referenced in the document. You can manage the variables from the list, for example, copy a variable to the clipboard, edit properties of a variable, view all instances of a variable in the document, and delete an instance of a variable from the document.

Insert Variable

Inserts predefined variables in Excel documents into the document.

Paste Variable

Pastes the copied variable in the highlighted position in the document.

Refresh Variables

Refreshes all variables you have linked in the document.

Refresh External Data

Refreshes the data queries on which variables in the document are based and the variables at the same time.

Lock Refresh

Locks the report from updating variable data.

Unlock Refresh

Releases variable update lock for the report.

Revision

Displays revisions of the report. You can select different versions to compare against the current one.

Show Notification

Opens the Notifications panel to view activities relevant to you.

Updates the data queries you have added in the document from the source data systems.

Refreshes the data queries on which variables in the document are based and the variables at the same time.

Show Notification

Opens the Notifications panel to view activities relevant to you.
