View Changes Between Report Versions

Via the JP DM Word add-in, you can view the changes between different report versions. The report version can be a revision published explicitly or a version saved implicitly when you change the workflow status for the report on the Disclosure Management website.

  1. Open the report from the Disclosure Management website.
  2. On the ribbon, select the JP DM tab and click Revision.
  3. Type the email address of your insightsoftware account in the Login window if it prompts and click Continue.
  4. In the Revisions panel, select a version from the Previous drop-down list. JP DM displays the changes between the current version and the selected one. You can click each change to view it in the report content.

  5. You can click the Types of Change icon Variable Type icon to filter the changes.

Note:
  • Revisions may take several minutes to appear with no loading indicator and require the report to be closed beforehand due to a SharePoint limitation. Allow a few minutes, then refresh the page.
  • Due to a current limitation in the Office API, comparing a report with one of its revisions may display the changes in reverse. This means that new content added in the report could appear as if it was removed when compared to the revision.
